OceanBrowser
OceanBrowser
The course content on the DVD-ROM you receive is accessed through the
OceanBrowser software application. This is included on the DVD. The OceanBrowser
website is http://oceanbrowser.com and the support site is
http://oceanbrowser.com/support
Getting Started
When you first receive your DVD-ROM disc, insert it into the DVD-ROM drive on your computer. The Getting Started window will automatically appear. You can use the options in this window to install all the software required on your computer, including OceanBrowser, and any other software your computer requires which you don’t have (QuickTime, Acrobat Reader, Flash etc).
You may choose whether you wish to run OceanBrowser and the course content directly off the DVD (this may be useful if you are travelling or using a work computer) or install onto your computer. If you install the software and the course files you will NOT need to insert the DVD each time you study, as your course content will have been transferred to your computer.
After installation is complete you will be prompted to view the tutorial video. All new users are strongly encouraged to view this movie. It is also available online at http://oceanbrowser.com/support/tutorials/
