BulletCourse Content Delivery

DVD-ROMs

Many of our students are living or working in locations where broadband internet access is not available. For this reason the bulk of your course materials will be delivered to you on DVD-ROM disc. The DVD format allows us to include large amounts of information for student and reference, including extensive multimedia and video content. You will be able to access your course content without having to download it via the internet.

Occupational Medicine papers are delivered to students on DVD-ROM disc.

The course content on the Occupational Medicine DVD-ROM you receive is accessed through the OceanBrowser software application. This is included on the DVD

Internet

You will need to have at least dial-up internet access available to you to access the course. This will enable you to communicate with your course tutors and lecturers via email, access websites, and unlock your DVD course content (as explained below).
Broadband internet, while desirable if available and affordable, is not essential for accessing the course, as the essential course content is delivered on DVD-ROM.
