AVMX 723 Managing Occupational Medicine is the first advanced paper for the Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine and Masters in Health Sciences (endorsed in Occupational Medicine). Having covered the basic technical and scientific aspects of occupational medicine in the two foundation papers, AVMX 723 Managing Occupational Medicine, will provide core competencies in how to manage occupational health services directed at a wide range of hazards and a wide range of settings. It takes a broad definition of occupational medicine to include disability assessment, medical legal work, workers compensation and environmental health.

This paper is for students on the Diploma of Occupational Medicine, Masters in HealSc (Occupational Medicine) courses. It provides advanced training in general occupational medicine practice.
